BLESSINGS 2000

At the beginning of each year we begin passing around a Blessing Jar.  Members place their blessings - big and small - into the jar and it is read to the group during the December meeting.  Here is a list of our blessings for the year.  If you have a blessing that you would like to post, place it on our message board.

  • My blessing is to watch the continued progress in my 6 year olds son's learning.  This morning he read the numbers off the clock
  • Having the support of the officers and members of the group during PAC meetings and talks with outside groups and organizations
  • Big thanks for Paula's (our founder) determination in helping our allergic children.  Bless you Paula.
  • My son's sideways glance has improved greatly due to the cod liver therapy, chiropractic care and the blessing of our lord.
  • I am grateful for the information that comes my way via others.  Often the light bulb comes on and off I go.  I am grateful for the confidence this information brings me.
  • I thank God for my daughter.  She has shown me how to LOVE from the HEART!!  "Guard your heart it affects everything you do!!"
  • In the last 4 to 5 months my child has lost a lot of fears, including socialization & verbalization, simultaneously.
  • My son now sleeps through the nights at least 4 outs of 7 nights.
  • I feel personally blessed to be back at the group.
  • Meeting and networking with David Foreman.
  • Since March I have stopped giving my child his allergy shots because I am doing the NAET treatments with the allergy extract instead.
  • My son slept in on Mother's Day until 8 a.m. and came up the stairs with a smile on his face.
  • The strong office bearers of the group and their willingness to always come together for the good of the children.
  • I am grateful that my child is in a mainstream school and can do cursive writing.
  • My child is now sleeping through the night 5 out of 7 nights.
  • My son got a great interim school report.
  • Meeting Paula in places I least expect and her giving me guidance when I most need it.  We solved the wheat mystery.
  • Giving my daughter Primrose Oil again has helped her with her moods.  Thank you Paula for reminding me to start it again.
  • My sons was able to participate in a music program at school.  He sang and performed all the hand and body gestures along with the other kids.  He did great! Even was directing and ad-libbing.
  • God healed my daughter's wart virus.  All warts have disappeared!
  • For the good times
  • At our triennial evaluation they did not feel we need to address academic issues on his IEP, only social skills will be addressed!!
  • My child said "da, da" for the first time in 2 years
  • I found out about adrenal trouble.  This could be a big part of my child's troubles. Thanks to the group!
  • I want to thank Paula Bush for giving and loving from her HEART!  What a blessing you are Paula. God bless you!!!
  • Our relationship with the Powhatan Parent Resource Center.
  • Final grades on report card - 4 As, 1B.  Best teacher conference ever!  3rd grade has been the best!
  • My child is able to spell his name and WRITE his name!
